KENTUCKY—LOUISVILLE. The Department of Orthodontics, Pediatric Dentistry and Special Care at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry is seeking applicants for a full-time position at the Assistant/Associate Professor level for its Pediatric Dentistry programs. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with credentials and experience. The position is offered as tenure track, but consideration for the clinical, non-tenure track will be given where appropriate. Candidates must possess a DDS or DMD degree or equivalent and a certificate from a CODA-accredited graduate pediatric dentistry program. Candidates must be eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and should be board-eligible or boardcertified in Pediatric Dentistry. Responsibilities will include pre-clinical and clinical teaching, course development and teaching in didactic courses in both the DMD and graduate pediatric dentistry programs. Research is also strongly encouraged. Preference will be given to candidates who have evidence of high-quality scholarly activity, prior teaching experience, and prior clinical experience. Temple University/Episcopal Division is accepting applications for an immediate opening for a full or part time position in their post doctoral pediatric dental residency program. The program is a large clinically oriented program and the applicant would be supervising care in the clinic. The program has 18 residents with rotations according to the Accreditation Standards for Advanced Specialty Education Programs in Pediatric Dentistry, CODA/ ADA. Candidates must be a Board Diplomate or a Board Candidate. There is an opportunity for Faculty practice associated with both full and part time positions. The program is a large clinically oriented program and the new director should have academic and clinical background. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, didactic and clinical instruction in our eighteen resident soon to be remodeled facilities. There is an opportunity for Faculty practice during the week or weekends. Candidates must be Board certified.
