Enroll Now in the National Dental Practice-Based Research Network

March 2013 Volume XLVIX Number 2

The NIH-funded National Dental Practice-Based Research Network is a consortium of practices and clinics devoted principally to the oral health care of patients, but whose members investigate research questions with practical impact that will improve the quality of dental care.

The main goals of the National Network are to conduct national oral health studies on topics

of importance to practitioners and their patients, to provide evidence to improve routine dental care, and to facilitate movement of the latest evidence into routine clinical practice. Participants include clinicians providing general and specialty care, and are involved in all aspects of study design, implementation, and dissemination.

We have established a Pediatric Dentistry Interest Group within the Network and encourage all pediatric dentists (researchers and clinicians) to enroll. Go to http://www.nationaldentalpbrn. org/enrollment.php for more information and to enroll, or contact Amy Kim, D.D.S., at akim3@ dental.washington.edu or (206) 543-0407.

Come see us at our booth at the AAPD meeting in Orlando. We will be at the meeting to provide information about participating and answer any questions. We look forward to partnering with you to make the National Network a success. See you at the AAPD Annual Session.
