General Information

January 2018 Volume LIII Number 1

Audio Recordings and Online CE

Make the most of your educational experience at AAPD 2018 and purchase access to the audio content. Remind yourself of the important takeaways you heard or hear a compelling course you may have missed. This multimedia offering is an excellent training tool and informational resource. You can purchase access with or without earning CE credits. The audio and PowerPoint presentations will be synced!

Audio Recordings*

The Audio Recordings will give you online access to the slides syn- chronized to audio from the scientific sessions, MiniClinics, and String of Pearls. With so many great sessions being offered at AAPD 2018, you won’t want to miss a single second, and now you don’t have to. * You will not earn CE with the Audio Recordings package. To earn CE, please purchase the AAPD 2018 Online CE package.

To order, see page 41 of the registration form.

AAPD 2018 Online CE

AAPD is offering CE for those courses at Annual Session you can- not attend. With such great topics and speakers lined up, it’s difficult to choose which session to attend. In the Education Passport, you will have the opportunity to purchase and earn CE for all sessions recorded in Hawaii. Purchase the entire Annual Session package now or individual sessions will be available for purchase after the meeting. Content for both offerings will be available for five years after the event.

ADA

AAPD conferences are ADA compliant. We strive to take the appropriate steps required to ensure that no individual with a disability is excluded, denied services, segregated or otherwise treated differently. Individuals requiring special assistance must make the appropriate notation on the registration form and/or contact the AAPD Meeting Services Department. All requests for special accommodations under ADA must be made allowing enough time for evaluation and appropriate action by AAPD.

Attire

The Scientific Program is casual. We recommend you have a sweater or light jacket available in case you find the meeting rooms too cold. The Welcome Reception is casual; come dressed in your festival attire including your sandals; no heels as they will sink into the lawn! The Presidents’ Farewell Dinner is resort chic.

Conference App

Attention all smart phone users and tablet owners! The AAPD continues to provide a comprehensive conference app for AAPD 2018 to keep you engaged before, during and after the meeting. The event app includes a complete list of sessions, speakers, exhibitors, local attractions, facility maps and much more!

The conference app, Online Itinerary Planner, interactive floor plan and the ePoster Gallery are linked. Create an account, login and mark your favorite exhibitors or sessions…when you login to the app, it will all be there! Once AAPD receives the speaker handouts, they will all be included in the app and the Online Itinerary Planner providing you a comprehensive educational tool both online and in your hands. Download our dedicated Poster App which includes full color posters as well as the abstract allowing you to sort by topic, track, day and presenter.
