ADA’s Contract Analysis Service
A clear understanding of the obligations and expectations for all parties is essential in a relationship between a dentist and an insurance carrier. If you are considering signing a provider contract with an insurance carrier, you may wish to take advantage of the members-only ADA Contract Analysis Service. The analysis offers a plain-language explanation of the provider contract terms, which is designed to allow you to make informed and independent decisions on the merits of the contract. The analysis is not a substitute for legal advice. Members can utilize the service at no charge by submitting an unsigned contract and an analysis request through their state dental society.  Contact your state dental society or go to https:// www.ada.org/en/member-center/member-benefits/ legal-resources/contract-analysis-service  for  more information.
